Well Being, Mental Health & Pastoral Support
Looking after our mind is as important as looking after our body. Wellbeing is about looking after our 'whole' self. We are proud to be accredited with Raising Attainment with Wellbeing national award. Recognising our strength as a school supporting pupils, staff and parents with many aspects of wellbeing and mental health.
There are steps we can take to help us look after our wellbeing, these include finding time to connect with friends and family, being active and looking after our physical health, learning new skills, helping others and taking notice of what is around us by relaxing and being mindful.
Sometimes we might feel happy, sad, fed-up, angry, frustrated, excited, unsure and this can be very confusing and hard to manage. Please take a look at the links and resources below which will provide your child and your family with some positive ways to support your wellbeing. The resources on this page should help you to understand some of your feelings, help you to find ways to make time and encourage positive steps to good wellbeing in your family.
