We are very proud to announce East Coker Primary School have been awarded the National Gold Award for Raising Attainment with Wellbeing. This has been the culmination of a year long project, working with Microlink and the Teaching Times.

During the parent teacher meetings in September we outlined the aim of the project - which was to raise and maintain all pupils, staff and parents understanding and levels of wellbeing and mental health, with the aim of raising children's attainment and future prospects.

Although we have been awarded the Gold award, this is just the beginning of a longer term plan to become a beacon school of excellence in wellbeing.
