Write a letter addressed to Mrs Hesketh-Williams to apply for the role of an ambassador.
The ambassador roles are listed below:
Library Ambassadors – tidy library on Fridays , set up recommendations of texts, video a story time session for younger children to watch – could do this as an odd assembly for KS1.
Hosts – Complete a one off video tour for our new parents with staff interviews etc – I will support with this. Help set up any events.
Learning Ambassadors – Create/plan videos for parents on subjects such as ‘handwriting’ ‘phonics’ ‘long division’ etc. with subject leader support. They could interview pupils about their thoughts about what the school is trying to improve e.g reading. This will be highly supervised by the subject lead in the hall with 2m spacing.
Eco Ambassadors – empty recycling when classes are outside, Litter picking during their outdoor slots or when the playground is empty, any mini projects which Mrs Pittard may support with e.g power point info session for a class assembly, creating an Eco area.
Sports Ambassadors – can tidy the PE shed up at Friday lunchtimes . Can support within their own bubble. Can run challenge skills area for their class.
Music Ambassadors – can lead the Friday music assembly with me in the hall. Set up timetables for other pupils to play their instrument to ‘zoom’ into the classrooms, can decide on some songs to sing, music to listen to etc., tidying music equipment.
Office Ambassadors – help sort mail and deliver booklets etc to class door.
School Council – we may have less children but we could do this in the hall – social distancing or via zoom, focus could be recycling as the local authority want us to recycle more of our waste there is money available to set this up. E.g food bins in staffroom etc. Help plan social distancing events for charity.
